Nice but really doesn't describe the book
I liked this book. This is the story of a young woman whos family is in trouble. They are about to lose their family business. The man who is trying to buy the business makes them a deal. He wants the daughter to go to his island. If she does, he'll not call in the loan that he holds over the family. Judy agrees and for awhile she is happy living in paradise. Until she realizes she is nothing more than a bird in a cage. She wants to leave but he won't let her. Finally after three months on the island he finally decides that he can't keep her and lets her go home. Judy does go home and she attends her brothers wedding. While at home she comes to realixe that she is in love with John McFarland, her capture. She returns to the island and they reunite. She tells him in no uncertain terms that ... I liked this book. I know if I were on the island, I wouldn't want to leave. It is a nice story about a man who looks deep within himself and finds that what he was missing in his life was love. I enjoy all of Debbie Macomber's books. I really like her earlier works, they seem to be more orginial. If you get the opportunity to read this book, take it. Never turn down the chance to read one of her books. She just has a way about her that makes you feel good from the inside out.
