Nice brakes with an excellent quick release system. I'm not a big fan of the square CNC machined look but the build quality is very good. My biggest complaint is the price. These replaced a set of Tektro 926 mini V brakes that are literally 1/4 of the price of the Mini Motos and there is honestly very little difference in performance. I'll stick with the Mini Motos since I've already gone to the trouble of setting them up but if you're researching I'd HIGHLY recommend you give the Tektro 926 mini Vs a try first.

These are fantastic brakes. If you want road-compatible V brakes, you can get TRP CX8.4s for about half the price, and Tektro RX5s for even cheaper. Do these work many times better than the RX5s? I don't know about that. But they're incredibly well made and they do work really darn well, so for me, they're well worth the investment. The biggest benefit is the custom quick-release noodle design which requires much less rim clearance to open up, which means you can run your brakes with very little clearance and much better lever feel with no loss of functionality.

I switched to these brakes on my hybred bike that I had conveyed to drop bars on. I was hoping they would fix the breaking problem with the short pull leavers. They have to be adjusted to about 1mm from the run to make contact at 50% of the leaver pull. I think if you had enough pull they would work very well.

Great brakes. Much more power than my old cantis. A pleasure to install (watch Paul's videos).
