  • Purple People Eater

During a conversation of old movies The Purple People Eater movie came up in the conversation. I remember watching it and wanting to have one fall near me. So I found it on Ebay - this is a great movie of old. The 80's outfits and nusic brought back memories that were fun. Neil Patrick Harris looks so young. What a fanciful movie about kids who could make a differnece by playing in a band with a purple monster that fell from the sky. I would recomend this as a fun walk down memory lane - even my kids enjoyed it.

  • Purple People Eater on VHS

"One eyed, one horned, flying purple people eater" This has to be one of my favorit movie of all times. We owned "Purple" for many years (way back when) My oldest daughter used to sit and watch and try to sing along with it, when she was around 3 years old. She is now 22 and to be married in June. I thought this would be the perfect present for her. She can save it and have her own children watch it. Was ONE of the best purchases I have made so far. Thanks Ebay!

  • AWESOME MOVIE clean family movie great for kids of all age

OMG this movie takes me back to younger days sitting in my grandmother & granddaddy's house watching this with my cousin and even through i'm in my late 20's i still find Purple just as cute as ever & still hate Mr. Noodle for being a "meanie" but i bought this movie so when i have kids they will get to enjoy some of the clean comedy that the later generation grew up with instead of the bull crap that some of the new "kids" movies have in them.

  • Warm, fuzzy, PURPLE!

I had seen the very end of this movie several years ago on television, and it intrigued me. It is a feel-good movie about a friendly alien that just wants to play in a band, a group of young people who have a band, and their efforts to help well-loved elderly people who are being harrassed by the landlord. The protagonist (Neal Patrick Harris) is a dreamer who finds a big purple alien who plays music out of her single horn. Fun movie, not heavy on message, but it definitely has one and delivers it well!

  • purple people eater great 80's movie

I grew up watching this movie it's great because it brings back memories from my child hood. When i first watched , ched it with my grandmother and she had to convince me. But i absolutly loved it and now want my children to see it. This is a very hard movie to find and wish they would consider making a dvd and a newer version.
