The reason I rated this sale as I did was not due to the Seller. Sellers have little to do with the shipping process once it leaves them, but none the less, buying a product and getting a product are all part of the purchasing process. The shipping company (to remain unnamed- the white trucks) obviously had trouble handling this package, despite quality packing provided by the seller. The shipper was able to absolutely destroy the packaging. I can’t say for sure, but I also blame the shipper

Good for the money
I installed mine on my 2002 acura 3.2 CL. I highly recommend going to your local hardware store and buying your own grade 8 bolts/nuts as the hardware that is included with the kit requires cutting/widening holes in the frame rails to fish the bolts and plates through and attach through only the bottom layer of the rail. I opted to buy some much longer bolts to fasten the hitch all the way through to the top side of the rail inside the trunk. There are two rubber plugs that have to be removed to access the hole needed. This is much stronger than the way the instructions say to do it and much faster due to the fact that you dont have to cut/drill/widen any holes to do it. As for the rear mounting point where it bolts through the factory tow hook loop, the reinforcement plate included is a ... I installed mine on my 2002 acura 3.2 CL. I made my own reinforcement plate out of a thick section of angle iron. I have attached pictures of the work I did. I put a quick shot of black paint on the tops because I scratched up the paint when tightening the bolts and didnt want it to rust over time. Hope this is helpful.

Somewhat difficult to install but quality product. Enlarging holes in frame for installation not that easy. Would consider competitors hitch where no drilling/enlarging of holes in frame is required to fit reinforcing plate/carriage bolts through the frame.

Great product poor instructions.
Fits like a glove all the hardware was there. The instructions sucked, the way to install this hitch is to put the bolts in through the plugs in the trunk, there were 2 plugged holes in the trunk (from the honda factory) Simply pop the plugs ( located under the spare tire cover) install the reinforcing plates and bolts. I spent 15 minutes on the ground before I thought of going thru the trunk. Poor instructions good product. The wires for pulling the bolts into position were awesome!Fits like a glove all the hardware was there.
