    Very helpful in making it easy to compare the synoptic gospels.

    A great way to read the gospels with Matthew as the primary text and corresponding texts of Mark and Luke along side. Also included are footnotes relating to John and to other sources. I have now purchased a total of three and give two away, one to a pastor who had not been familiar with it and found it helpful. If you focus on seeking the truth about the GOOD NEWS, this book will be helpful. If you seek to find excuses in "inconsistencies" you can find them. As always, if you humbly seek truth you will find it and be edified.

    Very handy resource for studying the Gospels!

    This is a great tool for any student of the Bible at every level. It allows you to compare each of the synoptic gospels (Matthew, Mark, and Luke) in parallel columns. It is very useful to see what the gospel writers reported in the same way, what they reported differently, and what some of them chose to leave out altogether. As a pastor I use Throckmorton in my own studies, and I suggest it for my church memebrs who are interested in doing their own Bible study.

    Excellent Gospel Study Resource

    Always a gret gospel parallel book for comparative understanding of the gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke. Used in seminaries, and in minister's studies regularly. Highly recommended.
