PERFECT replacement after our Parrot pulled apart our old keyboard!
Apparently, Quaker parrots like to cause trouble every now and then (being the perpetual 6 year old they are!), and OURS likes to eat mice wheels & earbud rubber, and pull "function keys" off the Vostro 1500 keyboards! We were thinking we'd just leave them broken when I thought to look on eBay for a replacement keyboard after watching a YouTube video on repairing them... 1. EASY to replace.. seriously.. VERY easy 2. Works as good as the original.. better I suppose because there's no hair wedged under the keys :-) 3. Great value... for appx. $15 we have a brand new keyboard again... NEAT! feels good and easy to replace.
An excellent option to replace a keyboard with missing or damaged keys. feels like the original keyboard. Which I destroyed when upgrading my Celeron CPU to a Core 2 Duo with 4MB cache. Everything needed to be functioning on the laptop. So, I rplaced the keyboard.
