This seller is horrible. They advertised and chart a set of shocks that fit a 1970 VW Beetle. and SPECIFICALLY SAY. Fits 1970 Beetle. The front shocks do not fit as they utilize a vertical bolt set up. I asked them to pay for return because it is falsely advertised. But they refuse to pay shipping. Stay away from this seller. Exact fit and very good quality
You should be comfortable using hand tools as you will have some that need to be removed under the exhaust pipe. The part was and exact fit and the material looked to be a silicone product. Clean the slot in the oil pan and contact surface on the engine before you just press it in and put things back together. Not your usual "do it yourself" project as you will get frustrated if you are not a problem solver getting the bolts out.
