About this product

Product Information

The flying, firebreathing turtle hero of yore returns to battle his ancient diabolical nemeses, the birdlike, predatory Gyaos. Not your father's Gamera movie--the spiffier special effects and subtitling lend surprising credibility, but the monster match-up is still comfortably conventional.

  • Great Set!

The Heisei Gamera Trilogy is a must-have for any Kaiju fan. The three movies, by themselves, are head and shoulders above anything that came out of this era of giant monster movies, with each topping the previous one. I'm a lifelong Godzilla fan, but this trilogy does so much better than the Heisei Godzilla movies in about every aspect. The effects are great. The storylines are engaging. And it still holds up surprisingly well, even today. It's amazing how much better quality their product was than what Toho was pumping out, even though the production costs were only about half of what the bigger company was dropping. If you haven't seen these, do yourself a favor and check them out.

  • Gamera part one

This is what started the whole second generation of gamera aka the Heisei gamera trilogy . This is the first movie gamera trilogy . These three gamera films are up there with the best Godzilla movies . If you like Kaiju films and sci fi monster movies then definitely watch this !
