    Saved me a lot of $$$

    After the cheap PLASTIC original piece only lasted 2 yrs. I went make to the install booklets and found the part number online. Found out via eBay, the part number had changed and updated to brass fitting, like should have been from the factory. Saved me a bunch of money from buying a new whole kit from the big L home supply store, which is discontinuing this btw. I assume from issues with this piece breaking, as the last kit they had in stock, on the clearance bin, had this piece broken as well. Installed this brass fitting in mete minutes and had my shower running like normal.

    Easy Fix for plastic replacement part 970-079

    Worked Great ! This is the 2nd time this faucet handle on the shower broke. The 1st time we bought a whole new one from the store. Installed it and the next day it broke ! Same Part. found replacement part and lasted 3 months. Grrr So I found my self looking again, Others we all plastic. This part is all Brass it fits perfect was easy to install and works great!! Thanks so much !!. I bought 2 and the 2nd one fit on the whole new faucet set i had in box too. Now i have a back up for the future! NOTE the original part number on the paper that comes with faucet is 970-079 and different from the number here which is 970-077. Dont Fear it works and is easy to swap.

    Awesome Replacement Part

    Fortunately someone had the wisdom to design and fabricate this brass replacement part for the original plastic stem adapter. The original part is notorious for failing fairly shortly after the shower valves are placed in service. I definitely recommend using this part, even prophylactically, since the original part will only fail when it is being used at a very inconvenient time. Order the part now, and have it at hand since the original part will undoubtedly break.

    Perfect replacement for the Pfister shower handle.

    Found this part after my Pfister shower control handle mysterious became loose. After opening up the handle, I found that the original plastic handle adapter broke. This part perfectly fit the broken piece. Everything is working again! See before after photo below.
