After threatening with their second LP, BTO finally hit #1 with their third album. Issued in '74, this is the one with their all-time biggest hit, You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet, plus another big one, Roll on down the Highway, and more stadium-sized rock anthems!

    just straight forward rock

BTO may not be the most accomplished musicians out there, but they are a favorite of mine. Catchy hooks and driving guitar riffs coupled with many tempo changes in their songs make this band plain fun to hear. Not Fragile is my favorite album of this band. Four Wheel Drive and BTO II also score. Just turn on the CD player and let this one rip at high volume. Ah, back in the 70's again.

  • Vintage BTO

This is BTO at its best. The entire album is great. Forget the radio played pushers of Roll on down the highway & You aint seen nothing yet. Those are great songs but BTO really comes through with the rest of this album. Hope you got a GOOD stero and crank it. Not Fragile-one of their heaviest songs-super powerful. Rock is my life and this is my song-A sincear ballet with a rock choris sells the song great. Roll on down the highway-great leads and self explainatory. You aint seen nothing yet- A radio gold tune. Free wheelin - an instrumental heavy song showing the boyz ability to jam! Side 2: Sledge hammer-another heavy rock piece, hard and thumping. Blue morning-another cool radio tune. Second hand- A GREAT B-side song hard rocking and power. Giving it all away- A nice end song for the ...

  • totally rockin' cd. one of my all time favorites

I used to have this on record album. Most people half my age don't even know what a record album is. Anyway, this is one of my favorite records of all time, and having it on CD is even better yet. This isn't the first hard to find CD I have found on Ebay. These guys (BTO) totally rock, and they are quite talented. I grew up in that era, and BTO has always been one of my favorite bands. The cd plays great, and I've listened to it about two dozen times already. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

  • Bachman-Turner Overdrive - Not Fragile

Great showcase of BTO's diverse band member talents. CF Turner's vocals are highlighted on Album title song "Not Fragile" heavey vocals including pulsating guitar rythum that beats you like your grandma's doormat. Randy's vocal highlights include "Rock is my Life (and this is my song)", sung with the conviction that continues to carry him in solo as well as collective projects with former Guess Who bandmates. Album notes include a guitar solo guide...right speaker Randy, left speaker Blair, etc. Really cool. Buy it. Share it. Play it. Loud!

  • If only

These are the fathers of modern day metal. Although metal today is put out by so many that think writing songs consists of just playing some power chords and screaming none stop into a mic. BTO usually always had something to say in a song and yes CF turner could scream but he did it just right. Everyone of these songs is a classic and this was recorded when the band was at its best.
