Thin hard cheese cuts.
I love this cheese knife for it's quality, value, feel and effortless straight cut through hard cheeses. I bought it to replace our Cutco cheese knife which unfortunately dissapeared. It is also great for cutting through French crescents. This knife makes thin straight cuts easier than my roller cutters.

Poor cutting quality
First, it is not made for use by left handed people. The thick blade is ground on one side rather than both sides to the center. When cutting a block of cheese, The knife cannot be held to cut straight; it wants to follow the bevel of the blade edge. Many cheap knives are ground this way to save cost. This knife is no exception. It may look like a Cutco, but it is a joke. It’s nearly impossible to slice cheese in even slices.First, it is not made for use by left handed people. Best knife Ever for Soft Cheese
I purchased this exclusively for cheese cutting. Brie and Cream Cheese mostly so it works great for this purpose. I have other knives I like better for vegetables. Feels great in the hand. I don't consider this a multi purpose knife though.

Great idea for a knife
Similar quality knife to my sister's Cutco knife. I like mine better. So great for cheese. No more strong arming that block of cheddar. I'm buying more for family members. It also arrived ahead of schedule. What a surprise!
