It might work but I don’t believe this is anywhere near 9cfm. It should pull down within a few seconds of pumping in this configuration. I have a dinosaur Dayton pump that puts this thing to shame. I was hoping to replace the old pump but with this one. Besides that it’s a vacuum pump. Lives up to “you get what you pay for”.
