    Decent Jekyll and Hyde film could have been better

    Being a fan of Hammer Horror, I was interested in seeing this when I learned Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing were in it. It appears to be a retelling of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde but with the names changed. And while not a Hammer film, it is shot like one. There's a good scene of Lee, as Mr. Blake, stalking a woman who publicly scorned him in a bar, but for me there wasn't enough thrills and chills and the film seemed to end somewhat early. Still, the performances are good as are the sets and photography. And while a decent film, one can do better if you're looking for a good version of Jekyll and Hyde (especially the 1932 version with Fredric March).
