    Revived an older MacBook, great value for the money!

    I bought this when my hard drive crashed on my old MacBook. The Apple store wanted $300.00++ to fix. This refurbished hard drive was under $50.00. Installation was a snap and, since I had backed up all of my files on Time Machine, I was up and running again in no time. This drive seems much quieter than the original (maybe pre-crash noise from the original). As for durability?, it's to early to tell but so far so good.

    My experience was what I anticipated.

    I bought this hard drive to refurbish a laptop that I purchased from an e-waste location. The computer was missing the hard drive and memory. I replaced both, ordered OE software and returned this item to original factory specs. This product fulfilled all requirements.

    this nifty sata drive for newer laptops

    ease of instalation/price was very reasonable and was former ibm imac drive owner upgraded to larger size gig hd as far oters rating one or the other i found little or no performace differense from one brand to other.
