If you have an old Pentium 3 that only support Coppermine sitting around, why not give this a whirl? It's compatible with a Dell Optiplex GX110 as long as you use the A5 BIOS (Don't use anything newer otherwise it will NOT boot!) You can downgrade your BIOS if you need to! The BIOS itself will register this as a Penitum II 9.99GHz (Wouldn't that speed be sweet). But it does pump out some more performance without any other special configuration. Combine that with a decent PCI GeForce video card, max it out at 512MBs of RAM, and really, it's not a bad little machine. You obviously can't do any intensive projects with it, but light internet browsing and gaming is quite possible with this upgrade.

This works fine with the 440ZX chipset after some bios correction.
