    Cheap, light, aspherical. Not bad.

    For the price it would hard to beat this in the wide-angle category, as it's filthy cheap yet still pretty well-built considering it's made of plastic. The lightness of it makes it a breeze to carry and the glass itself is pretty good, but it doesn't seem to be the sharpest lens in the world (but all things considered that really shouldn't be a surprise.)

    Title good and accurate, all the info I need is there

    I wanted a true wide angle lens for my Sony A100 SLR digital camera. This lens has been described as the best wide angle lens on the market today.

    Tamron 11-18

    Aside from the vignetting, this is an excellent lens. I would recommend to anybody needing a super wide angle.
