    High expectations met

    Out of the box shaving sharp and the build quality was good, nice even grind, just what I would expect from a lifesaving product perfected over decades. Not a machete, but with a small baton it can handle much of the same materials safely. Handle had a shiny varnish that was easily sanded off.
