Nice head bad handle
The steel gets sharp and works good. The grain of the handle is exactly 90 degrees to the head. I don't know if you pick one any worse than the one I received. It may last 20 years with the light work that I do but probably would fail under heavy use. I can't believe it passed QC. Just my luck.

good head, handle rough, no logo
looks like a good american made axe. handle was rough, picture showed name on handle, there was none, dissapoined, i saw no council logo on head, after a little use the sticker will be gone, and noone will know who made the axe ! should have name or logo stamped in the head !
