Really good sound. I was surprised!
The ONLY improvement I can think of for the price is if this could do phone calls. But other than that, I absolutely love this. Once you have paired it to your phone, tablet, or laptop with Bluetooth, it automatically connects every time you turn it on. I found the volume quite adequate, as it can blow me out of the room. The bass impressed me, and the rest is as expected, good and solid. You can use it with batteries, or the supplied electric adapter. It can also charge your phone, MP3 player or tablet with it's USB output. And you can plug it in directly with the included 3.5mm plugged cord. I love using it with my MP3 player on radio. Not worth the savings
This speaker offers very good deep bass and clear mid and high. It lacks lithium ion battery backup. It comes with Bluetooth 2 only and it disconnects every time you don play for 15 mins I believe. It makes it a trouble to connect manually by pressing the power button or by using nfc. We have lot of other options worth a look.

Great little speaker.
First let me say that I was happy with this purchase. It pairs well with my phone, and I like the DC ability of the speaker. However, it is a little disappointing when compared to an original that has not been refurbished (yes, I have one to compare it with). The volume is not as good as my original, nor is the "bass reflex" on it. I noticed right away when I took it from the box that it did not weigh as much as mine, and I'm guessing that the speaker magnets are not as heavy as the original Philips magnets. Still, it's a great value, does what it's supposed to do, and is priced right. Yes, I would buy another. First let me say that I was happy with this purchase. Not great, but not bad.
It was easy to set up but can be a bit quirky after its on for awhile. Sometimes cuts out repeatedly then plays fine for a few hours after. The bass is a little heavy for my ears, but overall I think I got a good deal.
