after looking for the movie "Massacre" for for some forty years, I was thrilled to find it was a part of this trio of "B' westerns. A much maligned product of the late 50s, massacre was on TV in the early 60s, when I first saw it. Ever since, I looked everywhere for it with no success. Why did I like "massacre? For one thing, its one of the few movies that deals with the Yaqui and the Mexican Rurales(rural police that made the Texas Rangers look like grade school sissies) that pursued them. Another would be the rather depressing ending. Having seen the original in B&W, the original color was a pleasant surprise. filmed in the Mexican state of Michoican, the scenery is breaqth-taking...whoe cares if no Yaqui probably ever got with in 500 miles of Michoican. Also, the prop guns were pretty hokey. Still, it will make my top 100 westerns . The other 2 movies, though also "B" grade, were watchable.Read full review
