Is a good product but won't work in mac neither update windows software. Also needs a patch to make run. in other way you just waste your many.

NCLEX Review 4000 has good and bad traits
As a previous NCLEX 3500 questions user, I bought this program in hopes that it will be just as good as the 3500 program but it has compatibility issues with Windows Vista. I would have given it an "Excellent" rating except it cannot open with Windows Vista. Pros--Great questions! It has a good variety of peds, OB/L&D, medsurg, psych, etc. material. Plus it gives you the option of having rationales to explain questions you get wrong. Also, it gives practice exams and tells you what you need to work on and your strengths. Good as the NCLEX 3500 but has better graphics/layout and more questions. Cons--For some odd reason it will not work on my HP laptop with the latest Windows Vista SP1. A message that says "The 'Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0' provider is not registered on the local ... Yet, still no luck at trying to use the program, but I am not a computer pro either. It seems like any Windows XP computer is compatible with NCLEX 4000 since it works with my other 2 laptops with XP. Otherwise, I suggest to stick with NCLEX 3500 since it works with XP and Vista.

Great way to study
This cd is a great study tool for the NCLEX. It has questions that are very different from the Saunder's review book and cd, which is a good thing because it allows you to get an idea of many different types of questions and how they may be worded. I find these questions more difficult than other practice questions, but it gives you the rationales for every answer. It also allows you to customize your own practice test with topics that you may be weaker on. The only thing i wasn't too happy about is that it doesn't give you strategies for how to tackle each of the individual questions (for ex, you can eliminate 2 and 3 because they are alike, and then from there choose 1 because it makes more sense than 4, etc.) like the Saunder's review does.This cd is a great study tool for the NCLEX. I passed the NCLEX because of this CD
I was not the greatest nursing student. I passed, but wasn't close to an honor student. I went through 2 live reviews with 2 different NCLEX review companies. One of them I paide $350 for. Although it was nice to have the review, all I really needed was this CD. One question on the real NCLEX I attributed to being answered correctly because of the $350 course. ALL of the other questions were practically straight off this CD except with different answer choices. This CD is ALL you need. It has so many alternative type questions that will prepare you for the NCLEX. When I left the NCLEX test center, I honestly thought I failed only because the questions were so easy, I was fearful that I didn't reach the higher level questions. I didn't know that the questions I got ... I was not the greatest nursing student. I passed, but wasn't close to an honor student. NCLEX Review 4000---GREAT PRODUCT!
This is an excellent program!!! It has helped me numerous times to prepare me for my nursing exams which in turn will hopefully only better my score for my NCLEX! I love that you can put it in study mode and you get the rationale after each question, I also love that you can break it down and only "test" or "study" certain aspects of MedSurg! This is a wonderful program and I highly recommend it!!This is an excellent program!!! It has helped me numerous times to prepare me for my nursing exams which in turn will hopefully only better my score for my NCLEX! I love that you can put it in study mode and you get the rationale after each question, I also love that you can break it down and only "test" or "study" certain aspects of MedSurg!
