    Goody's Simple Looking Barettes

    These are the only type of barettes that will actually stay in my hair and hold it back. I can find others but they're usually all blinged out and there are more times I need a simple barettes rather than a decorative one. I can't find this style any where else so I made sure to get more than just a couple. They cost more than I would have liked but are worth it.

    The Unicorn of Barrettes

    Sadly, it LOOKED like the unicorn of barrettes that I have been searching for--the "classic" tortoise-look 3" barrette which seems to have left this universe---and/but, because vendors do not give details such as the length, and why kind of clasp, this was not what I thought it was. I would recommend that vendors sacrifice one package and open it up and pull out a barrette, measure and post that info, show a side-view so that the customer can see if that is what they want. Today I received a post that says they are 3", there are 6 in the package [for $27.98!!! which is pricey, but IF they were the grail of barrettes, I would spend that if they were what I want], and again, they sound and LOOK like more or less what I want [black plastic tops] which is okay] but I STILL cannot see what the ...

    shorter than my old ones

    they work just as well as my old ones which were 3", these are only 2" so I was a little disappointed, but they still work great as I said so a real good value as they are very hard to find for some unknown reason.

    Barrett’s break

    I have used only Goody brand hair accessories for almost 50 years now. I ordered these because I thought the company would have integrity. However these Barrett’s changed my mind. The first one broke in 2 days!

    Inexpensive but poorly made.

    Plastic outer side comes off the metal clips almost right away just in normal action of clipping hair back. Not expensive, but not well made.
