Beautiful and thick enough to cushion but not so thick as to make opening our hallway closet door difficult. The rugs have a secure grip to the floor. A huge plus since I will be having knee surgery and rugs to capture moisture is strongly suggested in certain areas but not in most. There is always the chance they may cause tripping. New, great value for the set.
