    All the Great Poirot Stories

    This is a wonderful compilation of all the Agatha Christie Hercule Poirot short stories. The characterization is excellent and his procedures, quirks and bursts of insight are on full display. The action is direct, much more so than in a novel, and each story contains the distilled wisdom and worldly experience of an extraordinary detective and human being. He remains among the best of Dame Agatha's creations.

    Reading Poirot energizes My little grey cells. Each exploit is ingenious and Poirot tantalizes the reader with a series of both legitimate clues and red herrings which inevitably come together in the final conclusion. His reasoning is always sound and he never fails simply by employing logic and common sense to any issue.
