I really like the fact that I don’t have to worry about that stupid tiny (and easily lose-able e-clip. I’ve had to have Streamlight send me them twice over the past several years and this screw eliminates that problem. However, as others have pointed out the screw is too long and needs to cut or filed down. It’s not hard with a Dremel don’t try to file it down while it’s on the light. You’ll think you can do it carefully without the sanding wheel touching the light. And you’ll be wrong.

Definitely an upgrade from the manufacture’s screw. Looks slick and much easier to fasten. It did require some grinding/filing to prevent screw from stick out but easy to do. Very overpriced for what it is, but then again, I paid for it, and I am content with my purchase. 👍
