    Film is alive!

    The grain is superb, it remains me when I was young, making little money, taking pictures of people and developing film and enlarging at home, I had to prepare the chemicals at home. Like the painter had to prepare the paints by himself. it is art!. Now with the digital photography, you can take million pictures and maybe you can have one good. . Whit this film I have only one chance to get a good picture. I challenge any digital photographer, and I vet I will win all the time, Long live the film photography. Ilford is taking the place of Kodak

    A staple in B&W film

    ILFORD HP5 is an Industry standard and is welcoming to experienced or new photographers with great and reliable results for any type of photography (Portraits , landscapes,close ups , etc) HP5 is also a good base line for more experimental photography such a high contrast or over exposure in the darkroom or in Photoshop And I can’t recommend it enough !

    Detail matters

    The fine grain of Ilford film makes the pictures come out nice and sharp. Lots of people use photography to create art like me ,I can't paint or draw but have an eye for art and love to express it. This film makes it possible and it's more fun to use an old film camera than digital. It's the best film I have found.
