I bought this item because I have shoulder pain when I sleep. I thought that this would cushion my shoulders. It is 3 inches thick and I put it on top of a 12 inch mattress with a pillow top. I have used it for over two weeks and it did not help. It is not as soft as I hoped it would be. I let it expand for the 72 hours as recommended before my first use.

Item was as described but box was delivered damaged. Decided to put it together to see if anything was missing. Luckily, all the parts were there with no damage. As all other user feedback, all you have is a exploded picture to go by. If you can follow that without directions, then this is a great deal as the parts used are not cheap junk.
