The Sony EVI-D100 NTSC webcam is a full-featured device that captures video for conferencing as well as serving as a video camera and still camera. Mount the webcam, and the pictures you capture will be high resolution, thanks to the 10x optical zoom built into the system. The camera also pans and tilts to enable you to get the best angles for calls and videos. Enhanced white balance and autofocus give you exceptional results without effort, which provides your viewers with the best colors and audio. Use EVI-D100 cameras for distance learning, conferences, seminars, training, video chatting, surveillance, worship services, courtroom proceedings, and meetings of almost any type. Sony EVI-D100 PTZ cameras have a compact design that sets them above other cameras you might own. As a video conferencing camera, the EVID100 offers high-quality audio and colors with the ability to control pan/tilt/zoom operations using the remote commander unit. Install the serial control software by VISCA on a PC to control these cameras remotely via a computer. This CCD camera is an intuitive combination of speed and quiet, thanks to the internal direct drive motors and gear-free structure. The camera has pan/tilt with an expansive wide-angle view and a 40x zoom that includes 10x optical zoom and 4x digital zoom. The shutter speed is 1/4 to 1/10000 of a second. Out of the box, the Sony EVI-D100 is ready to mount, and it gives you virtually all the features you’d want in a webcam. The camera gives hands-free operation, even when changing the pan/tilt positions. Autofocus, automatic exposure control, and auto white balance make this responsive camera an easy choice. The Sony EVI-D100 has a built-in conversion lens that gives you a wide-angle view of 65 degrees, enabling you to capture everything in a small room. Set the camera with the auto sleep function so it turns off after a specific amount of time. Use the picture effects built into the system by Sony. Choose from negative/positive reversal, sepia image, enhanced contrast, continuous still image, black and white monochrome image, and more settings. Other accessories included with the system include an AC adapter, the IR remote commander unit and Velcro tape to mount the system. Optional accessories available include a black wall mount bracket, a white wall-mount bracket, a connecting cable, and a telemetrics controller. The optional connecting cable enables enhanced remote control. The Sony EVI-D100 webcam has six position presets, enabling you to set frequently used positions in the camera. A battery backup stores these presets permanently, even when the system is off. Auto exposure settings include auto/manual/priority, exposure compensation, and backlight compensation, enabling you to shoot footage even in difficult lighting conditions, such as a concert or a nighttime sporting event. Connect the camera to a mobile device, television or DVR via a cable in the video input jack to see videos and photos on another device or on a large screen. With Sony EVI-D100 cameras and software, remote video communications promise to be simple and full of true-to-life audio and colors.
