The reel itself is every bit as advertised, very nice. The box was not shipped very thoughtfully, and just wrapped in a butcher paper mailing envelope. Very disappointing because it received substantial damage during transit. For the shipping rate paid, it really should have been shipped in a sturdy box with bubble wrap or peanuts to protect the contents. This is a somewhat rare box to find, and this one is all but junk as a result. Buyer beware I suppose. Disappointing.

Overall, I’m pretty happy with this purchase. Two of the three books are in version good condition as described. However, the Trout Fisherman’s Bible has at least three pages that are not attached to the glued binding and the glued binding itself is pretty deteriorated, rendering the other pages very susceptible to becoming detached as the book is used. Otherwise the packaging, shipping & communication were very good and I certainly would return to this seller for future purchases.
