Lightweight and easy to use
I bought this to replace a 13 year-old Dyson 07. The older vacuum still seems to work OK, but we have two cats now and it had trouble picking up cat hair. This does a great job and I especially like the attachment with the rotating brushes. The roller ball is easier to use than the older vac. Also, with the beater bar jutting out it's easier to vacuum under furniture. The only problem I had with it was getting the beater bar attached securely. It came off three times the first time I used it before I was able to get it to snap on tight. I also like the smaller size and lighter weight since I'm older now. Loose's suction
When I received the Vacuum it worked great.......now it is ordinary vacuum not representing the Dyson name. It lost suction power about a week after, Ive cleaned everything including the filter, my Dyson that is 10yrs old does a better job........I bought this Dyson to replace my old one......I'll keep the old one now!!!!!!

This is my second Dyson, so now I have two of them. I bought this one to keep upstairs where I have thick carpet in the bedrooms. The vacuum looked absolutely brand new when it arrived. It was easily assembled and worked wonderfully on the dense carpeting. The ball makes navigating around furniture so simple, compared to my old Dyson that doesn't have the ball. The unit is lightweight and I can easily lift it up and down the stairs. I especially like the button that turns off the beater bar so that I can go right from the master bedroom, through the master bath, which is tile. Then I can easily turn it back on again as I go on, into the walk in closet. I love not having to buy bags, and being able to dump the contents of the container right into the garbage can. The older one would get knocked off all the time, whereas the tools on this one are safely tucked away and never get bumped. The strength of the suction is very good and everything gets picked up in one motion. Less work for me. I can't say enough about my Dyson. I have had several other vacuums over the years, but none can compare to my Dysons. My old Dyson has taken a lot of abuse over the years and it still works perfectly, and that is why I decided to get another Dyson. Because I knew that I was getting a good quality item.

I love this vacuum!!! I vacuumed with our old vacuum and then went over the same area with the new Dyson and it picked up so much that our old one had left behind! The dust bin is easy to empty. I love that I can go from carpet to hardwood floors with no adjustments. And it's lightweight enough to easily carry up and down our stairs. My only minor complaint is that the telescoping hose tool isn't as easy to use (not as flexible) as my handheld Dirt Devil for cleaning the stairs, etc.I love this vacuum!!! I vacuumed with our old vacuum and then went over the same area with the new Dyson and it picked up so much that our old one had left behind! The dust bin is easy to empty. Works very well. Much more user friendly than our previous vacuum. It may be a refurbished item, but appears brand new. no signs of ever being used. For the price I would have to say, it's a great product for a great price. Mark
