Sturdy diecast train
Thomas Take N Play trains are my favorite of all the Thomas lines. They are a good size, not too big or small, but with a hefty sturdy feel to them. They are diecast (the body) and always have nice paint jobs. They stay in pretty good shape despite being taken everywhere, dropped, crashed, and stepped on in the night. I love the magnetic connectors, I prefer them to the plastic ones on the newer Adventures line. And my kids like the magnetic connection too. The Take N Plays are affordable, and come in sooo many different characters. We like the talking ones, and they sound just like the characters on the TV show. This gold Thomas is really cool.
