They work well for their intended purpose
My buddy and I each got a Cardo 4+ and overall we are happy with it. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is that we sometimes have issues getting connected, but we always manage to get there with a little effort. Also, these have a habit of cutting out and even losing connection if you don't keep talking. It seems that if we are silent more than 5 minutes or so, they disconnect. However, we've enjoyed having them and being able to communicate while riding. The range seems to be about 1/8 to 1/4 mile, which is plenty while riding. The batteries last a long time and I can get 4 - 5 rides of a couple hours each before I have to recharge. Also, I've found the FM radio feature works well and is nice to have. My phone pairs with the Cardo very easily and works well on calls. And, you will ... My buddy and I each got a Cardo 4+ and overall we are happy with it. But, I find it difficult to get it to work. So, I would say that if you just want to pair with your phone and one other rider, you will like these Cardo 4's. They're easy to install and after a learning curve, pretty easy to use. The JBL sound is also very good, even on the included 40mm speakers. Ride safely!

Best accessory I've bought from my bike so far. It changes the riding experience and makes it way better, and the ability to have phone calls and GPS in my helmet is awesome. I dont ride with people so I can't comment on the com part. But I'm sure it's great to.

Works great. Better on a quiet helmet though. Batery lasts forever. Mic is good. Sound looses bass at 80 mph on my noisy helmet but who cares, it's loud enough.

Miles ahead of a comparable Sena.....
I use to only use Sena because that what my friends had, well I bought one Freecom 2+ and now own every new model Cardo except the Cardo PackTalk black. I have the slim and bold tho and many others. If they were Bluetooth 5.0 it would be as perfect as you can get with a Bluetooth communication system!

Works great! Very loud speakers, the speech commands are nice, just have to learn them. Not smart commands like OK Google, but if you have that set up, it will work that way as well. Can't beat the price
