    Good but..

    Rough Riders is an excellent production. The only problem is that the subtitles were only in French or Spanish. We needed them in English. My husband is hard of hearing so we use the subtitles as closed captioning. I have no idea why the subtitles were not in English. That made it very difficult for us to enjoy the program.

    Skip it!

    I could never get interested in this movie. Tom Berenger's Teddy Roosevelt acts like a obnoxious lunatic throughout this movie and Gary Bussey is his usual unlikeable self. I don't know how true to life this movie was, but it just took to long to get going [2 disc's] and I didn't like any of the characters in it. I love war movies, but this one just didn't do it for me. I say skip it!

    A great look at American history. A great story of some of the characters that were involved in this experience.

    i saw the series when it first was shown and enjoyed it very much. I had a DVD of the series in my collection but lost it when our home burned. I've been waiting for the chance to replace it and am glad that I've done it.
