    Good Rescue Tool

    Solid Kershaw workmanship. Well designed, opens quickly and lock solidly. Relatively inexpensive so damage or loss (inevitable in the field) will not crush the owner's feelings. For the price a good buy. Will see through EMS and home use how well this truly holds up. Looks good, and I expect will perform well. It is heavier and fatter (thicker) in the hand than some folders, but this may be an advantage so with or without gloves gives a good grip. Would have been nice to have a safety lock (like the 1660 Leek) to prevent accidental opening. However, it does not have a hair trigger so opening does take a little pressure.

    Great knife for the price

    I am a volunteer firefighter and have been looking for a good knife to leave in my turn out gear. This one had great review feels sturdy, easy to open with thumb flipper and spring assist. The blade and cutter are very sharp. Well designed knife

    Good Firefighter/EMT duty knife.

    Good quality knife with a wide and solid feel. The blade length could be a little longer, but overall good for moderate everyday use. Have not used the seat belt cutter yet. For the price I would recommend this knife for a uniform pocket knife.

    Probably best EMT Blade for the money

    Quality blade holds an edge under daily use with nice features. Quick easy opening with both studs & a flipper. Fold out line cutter & glass breaker are nice but the flip open carabiner is the best accessory ever. Bottom line: Can't get a better more convenient blade for under $20.00.
