    Good Wood

    Good quality,good instructions. Very pleased with the product. This is a well designed starter. Plenty of good quality wood leaves room for creativity. A little more expensive than some, but a very good value! Good luck to anyone else out there "giving it a go" . Building a violin is a lot of work, it really helps to have the best material you can get to start with for a hobby. This is the best material I've seen. It will still take quite a while to complete if I'm lucky and don't make too many mistakes, but getting the kit allows me to work with hand tools in a small shop without investing in major power tools, and to work in relative quiet in an urban setting. The wood is good enough quality to make it worth the "journey"
