    Unbelievable little-known Prince CD. A surprising new sound for him, practically a jazz album.

    This was an awesome surprise for me, as I hadn't heard of this CD, checked it out of the library, and was so blown away by how amazing it is that I bought it. It's a different sound from most of his albums, very much a jazz genre throughout. His musicianship, vocals, lyrics and arrangements are at his best. I strongly recommended it for Prince fans, who want to hear a new sound from him. The only complaint I have is that it's too short--less than 40 minutes.

    Revisit This Gem

    I recently looked for, found and read the reviews from 1999 about this CD. Critics didn't like it because, well basically, they were still searching for the Purple Rain or Signs of the Time sound. Forget the critics! Revisit this one, if you didn't get it in 1999 or buy it to play now. The songs are jazzy and bluesy. Every song is a great listen. Even the very short "My Little Pill". Besides, it's Prince.
