    Great ASUSTeK P5G41-M LE Motherboard

    I purchased this board NEW about a month ago through E-Bay and it was a snap to set up and it performs flawlessly so far. The price is great for its class. I installed a Intel E8400 processor with 2gb of Super Talent pc8500 ddr2 1066mhz ram and a ATI HD 4650 PCI-E 1gb video card. I installed a Coolermaster Hyper TX3 heat sink and fan using Artic Silver compound. Besides the fact that this is a quality board I still have allot of room to expand in the future when I'm ready and thats why I decided on this LGA775 board. It’s got some great options for configuring and can be over clocked easily through setup. I would recommend this board to anyone who needs a computer for engineering, games, cad programs, or just fast internet research and operation.

    Do reccomend for legacey builds that need performance and 1080p.

    For the LGA 775 Socket, the G41 chipset is perfect for most "Power" users. It accepts the Q9xxx series quad cores, drivers install with no trickery, and is overall is a stable board for business use. My only complaint is the lack of DIMM slots, but I knew this upon purchase. Installed with the right hardware, this combo can compete, if not beat, the first gen i5 series setups and at much better price point.
