This drive has little to no sound, is it really working, yes; smooth for average user plus more with 16MB Cache / Buy this drive for less then $60.00 & you have made a great deal / Seek one out and you'll be amazed.

Good value, but noisy drive.
This was a good price for a 500 GB hard drive. Shipping was good. Product seems noisy and appears to re-calibrate often (at least, that is what it sounds like to me), but checks out error-free, so I guess I'll just see how long it lasts.
