    Good value for this sensor if you can find one to work with the Polar CS series Bike computer/HR monitor

    Sensor arrived in original plastic bag with magnet and tie wraps and worked right away when tested with CS300 close to the sensor. However, it stopped working when attached to the Polar handlebar mount. I had to shorten the distance between the sensor and CS300. I have a road bike with a tall head tube as I am 6'2" tall, so the distance from the sensor to the CS300 is at the max for sensor being on the same side as the Computer at 1'6" (18" exactly). When the CS300 was new, I didn't have any problems with the distance. Battery in CS300 is new. I am concerned if the battery in the new Speed sensor is weak due to age since these units are no longer made. I was able to obtain reliable operation by taking the CS300 off of it's handlebar mount and strapping directly to the handlebar a ...

    Replacement parts

    This is a direct replacement for the CS200. Due to the poor design you can't replace the batteries in the unit so you have to replace the whole thing. Glad this this still available. The CS 200 is a great little cyclocomputer. I didn't want to drop $300 on a new unit.
