FANTASTIC (except for the simulated players issues)
I love this game! This has revamped a few of the older levels, and the weaponsa re the same. But there are a lot more options for playing modes. What's coolest about this game is you don't even have to have an internet connection to play! There' built-in simulants which acts pretty real! I don't even play on the internet anymore because of all the hackers and cheaters, I'd rather stick with the simulants. Even better, there are levels of difficulty that you can put the simulants on, which means you can have it be super easy or nearly impossible to excel! A few problems with the simulants. First, there seems to be a small glitch or two. On Dust 2, one terrorist will randomly spend the entire 4 minutes of the round trying to jump up on the boxes near their spawn point. But this only ... But this only happens once evry 15 or 25 rounds, if that. Another glitch seems to be that the simulants will sometimes hide, and never come out. They will just face the wall until someone comes and shoots them. Again, this happens rarely, but does happen sometimes. Second dislike: the delay with which the simulants engage in a firefight. A terrorist and counterterrorist both go around the same corner and meet, face to face. There's almost a 2 second delay before either of them will start shooting. Not very life-like, but oh well. Third dislike, they are too predictable. I've gotten so that the "hard" difficulty level is almost too easy for me, because I can predict where the simulants are going to go, every time. The only way I can make it challenging for myself is to either play a level that I don't know very well, or put it on the hardest difficulty and only use a pistol! The simulants (obviously) don't htink like human players would, and you can tell that you're playing with simulants. All in all, however, I love this game. Weaknesses: The delay that the producers put on the Counter-Strike, or any other action fans out there. Summary: CZ is going to be a sweet game. A whole new gameplay has been added to make the game more exciting. First off, there is new characters and new weapons. These items will help make the gameplay more realistic than before. The graphics are much better than the original Counter-Strike. And thee is hope for those 56k users. There is now a campaign mode, no I'm not lying. The campaign mode is supposetly very realistic in it's actions, and there won't be as much lag as there usually is on Counter-Strike servers! This game is Great....
Another add on to my collection of half-life games... It is a first shooter type game and has bots to play with.... It does not require a whole lot of cpu or gpu power to run....
