The book is awesom!
The first book has a different cover, this book is the second printing of the same. But you can not find it any where, I Tried several times and end up with the same one I bought two years ago. I don't know where they get the new picture to post it for sale? The information with in the book is very well done and full of information. Perfect for the casual shooter
This is a wonderful book for someone, like myself, who is a new owner of a 10/22. It is a great reference for the shooter that wants to upgrade their 22, without spending the money for custom gunsmith services. Among other topics, this book describes disassembly and replacement of components, with great detail and illustrations. The beauty of all of the upgrades covered in this book is that they can all be done with common hand tools and a small amount of mechanical experience. The back of the book has a huge listing of manufacturers that produce aftermarket items for the ruger 10/22. I can't wait to get started on my upgrades!This is a wonderful book for someone, like myself, who is a new owner of a 10/22. Great book, especially if you have a Ruger 10/22 and want to optomize it. The chapters on headspace will help you select the most accurate ammunition for your gun. It's a (almost free) choice that may make the biggest difference in accuracy. Even if you have another 22 rifle (or pistol) the book is most helpful. This vendor on Ebay had the best price (delivered price within a week) that I found anywhere on the 'net. Highly recommended. Very informative, not quite for the "amateur" though
I got this book the other day. From the looks of it, this book is going to contain all the information I'll need to customize my own Ruger 10/22. Problem is I don't know much about guns in the first place, so this book is a bit overwhelming. Not much for the "amateur" gun owner. However that doesn't make this book any less informative.
