    bought these instead of the usual off road brands

    I originally looked at Rancho but they were very pricey for a gas charged single tube design. Even the hydro (non-pressurized) shocks were pricey. I looked at several other brands and had a tough time finding exact fit information on line. I came across these, the reputation of Bilstein quality and performance is without question, the price was very comparable to the others I was looking at which totally surprised me. I ordered them, installed without any issues and found the ride to be better (smoother) than the stock shocks yet quite firm without a load in the truck. They seem to keep the body from rolling quite as much. I added my usual winter sandbags and things really changed. The ride is much better, more comfortable. Yes, I would buy them again, they aren't cheap but still seem to ...
