    Simple to Use

    This is an Ethernet expansion card for an PCI interface to a PC backplane. Its speed is, as it says, 10 to 100 MBPS, which is perfect for PCs built before 2011 as that was the top Ethernet speed back then. This NETGEAR card comes complete with an installation CD, if you feel you need it. I simply plugged the NETGEAR Ethernet card into my PC's backplane as illustrated. The NETGEAR CD showed exactly what to do in the Windows XP operating system to activate the new Ethernet port so it could be recognized and used by the system. I was up and running in 5 minutes after installing this card in my PC. Very simple to install.
