    I bought two of the dust covers - a purple one and a grey one. The grey one doesn't quite fit in right and one side doesn't stay all the way in, so it can't sit flush with the 3ds. So I'm a little bit disappointed with the grey one - I was hoping to use both covers - but the purple one seems to be fine and I should be able to use that one.

    update: the seller contacted me about these, and we figured out that the issue was actually a difference in cartridge slot shapes between the old and new 3ds models - apparently the grey cap was just more affected by this than the purple one. the seller revised the design and is sending me replacements. i can't stress enough how impressed i was by the quality of customer service - i would absolutely buy from this seller again.

    I ordered a dust cover for my 3DS, as I almost never have a physical game inserted. The color is nice and is maybe a hair of a shade off of matching my system. The cover inserted snugly but not too tight. The cover even has an edge that follows the 3DS' angles. It's exactly what I wanted with more flair than I expected.
