    Love Gentle Leaders!

    This is perfect for our Giant Alaskan Malamute puppy. The smallest size will fit our small black lab, too. It also has a nice padding around the nose, which I haven't had on previous gentle leaders, but our dogs appreciate it! It doesn't come with a tether clip to clip to the dog's collar, but that's an easy addition. I have trained many dogs with these and they are great for discouraging leash pulling.

    Great Training Tool

    This is a great training tool especially when you have a large dog that has not been trained as a puppy. The dog I just got was raised in an apartment and was wonderful with the family dog as well as 6 little children. However, she was allowed to jump on people, get on furniture and never learned to stay or heel. Once I was able to put the gentle leader on snug enough that she couldn't paw to remove it, she was a pleasure to walk. It took one walk to get her to stop pulling and allow me to walk her instead of vice versa. It was an easy transition to walking without it after the first gentle leader successful trial. If only the people who live here learned as quickly as the dog, life would be a dream.

    Not an instant fix.

    It didn’t cost much. So I won’t complain much. The packaging was damaged and the dvd was missing. Looks like I got someone’s return. I watched a YouTube video and got the gist. My dog doesn’t like it and takes it off of her nose 10 times per mile. We’ve had it a couple of weeks now. We’ll keep trying...
