    Perfect toy!

    I purchased this to use, helping my 91 Yr old Mother. She loved it so much she wouldn't give it back. I had to buy another.. They are small, lightweight unit, very easy to handle and use. Very powerful, sharp & cut fast and neat. I bought another for myself. We're small ladies, its a perfect fit. Highly recommend! Only complain I've read is on the safety button. If thats stopping you from buying it... a piece of duct tape will hold that safety button open! The guard is nice too!

    There needs to be a cushion on the end of the cutter bar to prevent damage to the finish of walls when trimming plants that grow against walls.

    Lightweight Great Quality Value!

    Great lightweight trimmer easy to handle and cuts like butter! Easy start, excellent control, nice grip handle for less fatigue and just the size for my smaller yard. Went to the local Home Depot and this trimmer had more features for less money than their lowest cost comparable trimmer. I'd definitely buy again.

    My handy hedger

    I just purchased my second one of these. The first one I loaned out and never got it back!! I am 68 years old, female and still do all my own yardwork, and this trimmer is not only easy to use, lightweight, durable, safe and does an amazing job. It also comes fully assembled for those of you who think you have to put it together! A great tool for thee money. Can't go wrong with Black and Decker!

    Good for light-duty trimming

    Pros: lightweight and easy to maneuver, adequate power for light trimming, sharp double-edged cutting blade, low maintenance, good warranty period, good value. Cons: Loud...wear hearing protection, effective blade length is 11" to the guard so you don't really have 16" of cutting blade, many extension cords will not slide into the male plug socket without modifying them. The blade will not cut 5/8" branches without jamming. It will easily cut up to 3/8". Operate within the limitations and it will do a good job.
