This CPU performs great for my use case. I run dual E5620 CPUs. 8 cores with HT for 16 thread processing. It's more than sufficient for gaming and benches pretty high on Cinabench for CPU rendering. Building a cost effective gaming PC with a ton of power, at the price these things are going for, you can't afford not to pick these. Mine are paired on a used Dell T5500 Precision Workstation, 12GB Ram, GTX 960 FTW, and an SSD. It's cheaper than the XBox one or PS4, but thrice as powerful. Total build cost 350$ .

I upgraded from the L5520 to the E5620 and I was happy with the ease of the upgrade. A pair of them together make for a nice home server setup and these are probably still powerful enough to be used in a small business environment. Excellent value for the dollar - I paid $8 (yes eight) and they are easily in the I7 class.
