The movie is great and I'm not going to be a 'spoiler' and reveal anything. My complaint is for the SUBTITLES!!!! Those of you who do not use them will not have any problem but for those who do, it is a BIG DEAL. The problem is that the subtitles do not disappear when the person stops speaking; they stay on the screen until the NEXT speech, even through a silent scene change! Even through other sounds; the subtitle only changes (not disappear) when the next character speaks. This is not only annoying, it is extremely distracting and only gets worse as the movie progresses. It seriously gets in the way of following the action and keeping track of what's going on. If I had the resources, I'd track down the company that does the subtitle work and give them a clue. I find it hard to believe that PBS didn't catch this glaring fault. But, overall, the movies itself is very good.Read full review

The Escape Artist is a thriller that is smart, engaging and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Another great British export.
