Hard gum
I got box not to banged up was sealed with bubble wrap.but sent in bag not small box.crushed alittle.but looked good as i opened it.i removed one unwraped it.and gum was hard.i still bit off a chunk was hard to chew untill it softened as i was chewing .taste was not bad.but had it before and it was always soft.like clay and not hard .

they were hard this year
we order these every year for fathers day presents for our residents in our apartments. this year we needed exactly 36 and 2 of them came not wrapped so we ended up 2 short and we did not want to order a whole box and we didnt have time. also they were very hard this year so probably stale!

Sorry but when I received the candy, the gum was all broken up. I think out of the whole box, there were 3 cigars that were whole. The candy was very hard like it was stale also.

Tastes Good, Great Value for the money.
At some candy stores, these run about 50 cents, and at others they can charge as much as a $1.50 for 1 gum cigar. Getting 36 of them for $14 is a Great Deal. I don't know why, but I really like Grape Gum. Hard as can be to get, and this is about the only Orange gum around anymore. Used to find all of this at gift stores in the 1980's, and sadly these have been in decline along with many wonderful candies, making room for Jellybelly and fine chocolates. This is a great deal. The orange isn't terribly "Orangey", like I remembered from the 80's, that sugary taste isn't there. Look for some other product to give as a gift.
The Speed of Delivery was Excellent. The Packaging Presentation was reminiscent of how I remembered the product as a kid. However, the texture was Dry, Hard and not easy to Chew. Also, there was very little Flavoring.
