    A very fast Chip.

    Was time for a new build and I chose this processor. Always choose intel processors, just a personal choice. Never had issues with them, they just work. As does this one. Was very surprised at the speed this processor gives my computer build. Its base speed is 3.6ghz on 8 cores with a reported boost of 5.1ghz I've seen using task manager. Super impressed with this processor. This is the unlocked version so it could be overclocked. Paired with a MSI motherboard, Z590 series, it just seems to work flawlessly and instantly took to the preset XMP profiles built in. Very happy with the purchase. Only downside is it needs a CPU cooler as it does not come with one. I recommend the Vetroo V5. That CPU cooler keeps my processor at a nice cool temperature. Very happy with the i7-11700k.

    A good overall CPU with great performance

    I was running an i5-11600K and decided to upgrade when I found a new i7-11700K on eBay for a very reasonable price. I am amazed at how fast it runs in comparison. Although it does run slightly warmer than the i5, it is well within acceptable temps on air cooling. I did some video encoding and was very impressed with how much faster it finished the task compared to the 11600K.

    No problems

    Bought it new and paired it with a noctua nh d15 and it’s a beast on turbo. This cpu will get hot so make sure your system has a good cooling solution and in an air conditioned room. Also do your homework on motherboards for this cpu. Some have really bad vrms. And don’t buy a used motherboard.
